By using the Petscord.com website, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the website. You’re not allowed to copy, or modify the website, any part of the website, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the website, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the website into other languages, or make derivative versions. The website itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Petscord.
Petscord is committed to ensuring that the website is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for any possible usage changes in the future in regards to the website and its free services unless you clearly agree to it.
The Petscord website stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service. It’s your responsibility to keep your devices and access to the website secure.
You should be aware that there are certain things that Petscord will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the website will require the website to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your network provider, but Petscord cannot take responsibility for the website not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.

Along the same lines, Petscord cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the website i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you can’t turn it on to avail the Service, Petscord cannot accept responsibility.
With respect to Petscord’s responsibility for your use of the website, when you’re using the website, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Petscord accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the website.
At some point, we may wish to update the website. The website is currently available on most browsers and phone/ tablet browsers – the requirements for system(and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the website to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the website. Petscord does not promise that it will always update the website so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the specifications of your device and software. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the website, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the website.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for what you share and what sensitive personal information you give out. Therefore, we highly suggest to keep all sensitive personal information private and to not share such information with anyone on this website.
You acknowledge and accept that the personal information you provide through signing up for a Petscord account and the existing cookies from your browsing history may be accessed and used by 3rd party advertisement companies, for the purpose of serving you relevant ads.

The purpose of the Petscord community is to connect and share with fellow hobbyists from around the world. Please be kind and encouraging to one another.
By using Petscord.com you acknowledge and agree that you may be banned from using this service if you break any of the listed rules, as well as banned from behaviour and actions not included in these rules. You acknowledge and agree to the decisions of the moderation team. We suggest to stay away from all questionable behavior so that you will be less likely to be banned.
The Petscord currency, Aquamarine, expires and refreshes at the start of each month. It is up to you, the user, to spend the currency (wherever applicable) before its expiration. There are no refunds.
The following rules are not the only rules that may result in a ban. Use them as an arbitrary guideline, therefore avoiding questionable behavior.
- Shaming/gatekeeping/bullying is prohibited
- Excessive swearing is not prohibited
- Any form of racist/sexist/hate speech actions are prohibited
- Any form of impersonation is prohibited.
- Sexual harassment is prohibited
- Any form of spamming is prohibited
- Advertisements are prohibited outside of appropriate areas. Contact support for more details
- Posting NSFW (18+ adult content, graphic, disturbing, violent content, etc) is prohibited
- Children under the age of 13 is prohibited from using Petscord.com
- Any form of doxxing is prohibited
Additionally, you are responsible for your own member-to-member actions and privacy. We highly suggest to keep sensitive personal information private and out of your conversations, even with long-term relationships built on this site.
You acknowledge by using the Marketplace classifieds section of Petscord.com that any decisions, interactions, outcomes are solely your responsibility. You agree that Petscord.com has no liability or responsibility to any affiliations with your usage of the Marketplace (buying, trading, selling) nor to any user-to-user privacy issues you may experience. You are in charge of your own decisions, interactions, outcomes, and privacy.
